There are hughes in the 1850 Allen co.,Bath township OH census & in the 1850 allen co, german township index census both found at rootsweb http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/oh/allen/census/1850/0256b.gif Henry hughes Age 10, And of course his family. The one in german township is named Richard Hughes ..perhaps Richards grandfather?
