my one ancestor would be mariana gotz Smith. she was born in france her passport stamped in her bible. with it a note, whomever reads this note i will never die. And the first 4 leaf clover she found when she came her. I found the bible with the note. i assume the first person in 100 years since she sailed to canada in 1850 and came to mecosta county around 1869. I assumed by the note that she meant her memory will live on. that is what got me started in to family research over 25 years ago. Ok now everyone can laugh, How she is my favortie ancestor. one whom i have never met. bye. happy thanksgiving everyone
