    1. [MIMECOST] any access to 1930 Michigan /Mecosta census?
    2. Dan Fetters
    3. Sarah Draggoo Fetters is my GG-grandmother and was living in Big Rapids between 1920-30. I think she probably died about 1930 and is likely listed in the 1930 census. She is known to have remarried 4 times, McCue, then Rhodes, Britton and Oneil in unclear order. If anyone has access to the census of 1930 for Mecosta County, can the name be looked up? My guess is that it is under Sarah Rhodes, Britton or Oneil. Her date of birth would be close to 1842, therefore her age is about 88. It could still be listed under the last husband first though I am sure she is alone in 1930. Earlier cemetery lookups have been unsuccessful. Thanks, Dan Surnames (Becky:) BURGESS, GRANSDEN, HAVENS, RAY, BISSETT, MCCUMBER /MACOMBER, POTTER, SMITH, TOMLIN, YOUNG (Dan:) CARGILL, DRAGOO, ERNST, FETTER (s), FEATHER, FORTMAN, KATTERMAN, KEESECKER, KNIGHT, LAYMAN, MONROE, MILLER, ST. 3. I would like to welcome those of you new to this site and tell you there are some really great folks who are willing to help just for the asking. I, myself do Volunteer research at Andersonville Civil War Prison in Andersonville Georgia. There are Any research I do is absolutely at NO cost and I am willing to do what I can. There are 1376 prisoners on record from the state of Michigan and the almost 800 known from Michigan who died here, I thought I would send my offer. Here are my sources of research. There are 2 online databases to do lookups.....One by name...one by Company and Regiment. I also have a copy of the Dorence Atwater Death list which has the names and grave numbers of 12960 graves with only 460 marked as " UNKNOWN " This along with a CD I have which contains 34,000 names of the 45,000 who were imprisoned there which helps me find prisoner records because of misspellings of the names or alternate names. I visit the prison site every couple of weeks and have access to the onsite databases as well as the physical files. I would like to let you know of another service I offer which is to take photos of graves for a small fee. Please do not consider this spam as my research offer is FREE for the asking and will be posted on this county site only once. If there is anything I can do in helping your research at Andersonville, please just ask. 3. Looked at a Big Rapids Funeral Home database and didn't see any of the names you mentioned. Have some of the Mecosta county Cemeteries, but they need to be all looked at separately. No main index to them. They are a batch of old records that I am trying to update for the local DAR Chapter.
