Jack W. Baker D.D.S. Jack W. Baker, D.D.S. of Arlington Heights Illinois Funeral services for Dr. Jack W. Baker, 77, will begin with prayers at 11 a.m. today, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, IL, and proceed to St. James Church (Catholic), 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL where Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Born July 24, 1925, in Wells, Mich., he died Friday, Oct. 4, 2002, at Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, IL. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, IL. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Northwestern School of Dentistry, Dr. Baker had practiced dentistry locally for 35 years prior to his retirement in 1992. He was also a Navy veteran of World War II and an Army veteran of the Korean War. Jack was the beloved husband of the late Betty Baker (nee Nowacki); loving father of Amy Baker Lewis and Roy W. (Kimberly) Baker; proud grandfather of Jacob Matt! hew and Christopher Daniel Lewis; and dear brother of the late Eleanor Terrien.
