Greetings, Just wanted to say hello and leave with you the surnames I have been researching and other tidbits concerning Marquette Co. , MI. Dundon, Coakley, Daly (Daily etc) Sullivan, Harrington, McIntyer to name a few. My Irish ancestors came to the UP 1850's They where involved with the iron ore furnace companies. One of my ancestors wrote a book on their history. I also have some literature on mining from the area. I have been there several times and have collected some information and pics on the region.
