My grandmother on my fathers side was a Hogmire. I've just traced the Hogmire family back to the Revolutionary War and and have just applied for membership in the DAR here in Williamsburg, VA. I would be interested in the picture that you refer to in your note. Avon/Geneseo, NY have the 3rd or 4th oldest Fox Hunt in the country (Genesee Valley Hunt) and the Hunt still exists today on what was the Hogmire land. Let me know if you want any more info.
