She married in 1917 and lived in the Lawrence, Mass. area. She spelled her name exactly the same and came from Wysoka, Austria (now Poland.) Her first name was seen two different ways, Marya and Marja. I saw many others with the same last name coming from Wysoka. I imagine you've used the Ellis Island website already. I also found a terrific helper site for using the Ellis Island site. It allows you to search the site several ways at the same time.
