They were the parents of 5 children: Raymond, Elmer, Evelyn, Mrs. James (Alvina) Archer and Carl. Emil was the son of Albert Ursum and Fredericka Springborn. Emil and Carrie are buried in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Manistee.
