I found a census for 1880 in Mount Clemens where a Nancy Trombley was listed as the sister in law of a man named Henry Roberts. Henry's wife was listed as Francis (this would be Nancy's sister). There was also a Benjamin Trombley listed as Nancy's son. Ann was known as Nancy so I checked Denession to see if Nancy had a sister listed as Francis. (Quite a few genealogists thought Nancy Trombley was really Thusette Robertjeanne the daughter of Joseph Robertjeanne. I checked that on page 1087 of Denissions book but Thusette did not have a sister named Francis but did have one named Leonie who is shown as being married to a Honorius Henry Robert. I have shown this evidence to several Trombley genealogists who agree that Nancy Trombley is in fact Ann/Nancy/Thusette Robertjeanne. I have also been supplied with other data from a researcher in Macomb that also substanciates this and she is in agreement with me on t! he identity of the ever elusive Ann Robertjeanne. Thank you for your assistance. Dave
