I know it's a long shot, but my intention is to find the children of a Clement Emerson from Cayuga County, NY. He was one of the first settlors of this county and the following notation is made in the History of Cayuga County, 1789-1897: "The children of Clement B. Emerson, moved to Michigan some thirty years ago." Clement B. never left Cayuga County and died there in 1849.
