There's another fieldstone house on Havenridge, between 29 Mile and 30 Mile by Smith Road. I spoke to my grandparents tonight and they didn't remember the name Wakefield. It's worth a shot, but a phone book may not help you much. When my grandparents moved out here in 1946, the nearest phone was the next farm over, a quarter mile down the road. (Actually the only phone on the road at the time.) They were unable to get a phone installed until around 1950. At that time Richmond included at least Richmond Township and Lenox Township. Until around 1991 our mailing address on the farm was still Richmond, even though we lived 3 miles closer to New Haven and had a New Haven phone number. The good thing is that I can only think of maybe 12 or so fieldstone houses :) and I'm estimating high. Do you have any obituaries? I know that in the 1950s addresses were still printed.
