The November meeting of the Oakland County Genealogical Society's 2006-07 season will take place Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 5500 North Adams (between Long Lake and Square Lake Roads) Troy, Michigan. The program Topic is: "Using OnlineGenealogy Databases". Join us to hear Kim Harrison discuss various databases, how to prepare to use them effectively, tips on focusing your search to find what you want without wading through thousands of "hits," and how to keep track of what you've search and when. The meeting begins at 7: p.m. We will meet in the sanctuary due to voting in our usual meeting room. The Church has a flat entrance and ample lighted parking. Meetings are open to the public and free of charge, everyone is welcome.
