Hi Dawn and all, I went and did a quick internet search on the Belle Isle Creamery and discovered - as you will when you visit the web site, that Vlasic Pickles took over the property - here is the Vlasic site: http://www.vlasic.com/history.html Here is another article with reference to the Creamery: http://www.www58195.w1.com/cin/history/chd/buildings/depots_375.htm I doubt this will answer all your questions, but perhaps at least, you can piece some things together. If you go to the search engine - google.com and type in Belle Isle Creamery - you will find many many more references that the two I mentioned above. Hope this helps - Happy Easter - Happy Spring - to all! Maggie Fallone Macomb Co Michigan Genealogy My grandfather worked for Belle Isle Creamery as a delivery man approx. late 1920's/early 1930's. I'm not sure where Belle Isle Creamery was - possibly East Detroit. I have a picture of a picture of about 50 men and 4 women (man in center has a trophy in front of him) with a sign in back of them that reads Belle Isle Creamery Co. and a building to the left with a Belle Isle Creamery Sign on it. Does anyone have any information on Belle Isle Creamery or know of anyone who worked there?
