Hello List- I'm looking for any help to help me locate the following family after 1870; From the 1860 census: Michigan > Wayne County > Detroit > 6th Ward Vice, Vincent age 38 born Italy Maria age 32 born Italy Madeline age 14 born Italy Mary age 10 born Italy John age 8 born Italy Angeline age 4 born MI From the 1870 census: Michigan > Macomb > Township of Harrison Wise, Vincent age 40 born Italy Mary age 39 born Italy Angeline age 14 born MI Chelestine age 8 born MI John age 18 stated as born MI Louisa age 6 born MI I have more current information on; Mary d/o Vincent and Maria married Maxime Pomaville Louisa d/o of Vincent and Maria married Louis Battaglini John s/o Vincent and Maria shows up in the 1920 census living with his sister Mary Pomaville with last name enumerated as John Nacke. Is there anyone on the list that can help me anymore with these parents and any of their children besides what I already have? I can't seem to locate the parents, Madeline, Angeline, Chelestine and John after 1870. I'm also looking for the original spelling of their surname if anyone has access to vital records for Macomb County. Mary, the daughter, states that her surname was Mack in later records. Also, any leads to help search would be very helpful. Does anyone know of any research on Italian immigration in Michigan? Thanks ahead of time, John in Racine WI
