When I traced my family in the St. Peter and Pauls Catholic Church in Detroit, Wayne, MI I had a hard time and had to hire a researcher to get the information I wanted. She viewed the films at the Burton Historical Library in Detroit. I know her time was limited on the machine and she had to sign a waver saying any of the information she found would not be published or used in any way.
