The Macomb County Genealogy Group and Mount Clemens Public Library are pleased to announce the debut of the Macomb County, Michigan Funeral Home Records Master Index. This database indexes funeral home records which are available in original or transcribed form at Mount Clemens Public Library. Currently, the index includes Kaul Funeral Home records from the Clinton Township and Roseville locations (in progress), and Schwartzkoff Funeral Home records from the Utica location, 1924-1941. Our thanks go to Brenda McMahon-Miller and Karen Lee Hemme-Rogers, who have been diligently transcribing the Kaul records for some time now, as well as to the management of Kaul's for making their records available. Thanks are also due to Ann Faulkner, who prepared the master index. The funeral home records project is ongoing, and records from additional funeral homes will be added to the index, so keep checking back!
