In my copy of Father Denissen's book on the French Families of the Detroit River Region, p.1070, he lists Michael Rivard b. 1 Oct 1796 Detroit d 8 Feb 1888 m 27 Aug 1827...Teresa Dequindre... children: Agnes b. 11 Oct 1828 bp 14 Feb 1829 st Francois clinton River Mt Clemens bur 6 Apr 1861 Immaculate Conception Anchorville Teresa b 1830 Michael b 21 Feb 1832 St Francois Clinton River Mary b 1833 m 2 July 1855 Immaculate Conception Eusebius Grenier Abraham b 1836 Magloire b 1839 Exalide m 23 May 1870 Immaculate Conception Oliver Moore Adeline b 14 Jul bp 3 Nov 1849 Mt Clemens m 19 nov 1872 Immaculate Conception Daniel Marsac Louis b 14 Aug 1851 There is more information about some of the children, including Abraham's children. I included churches where mentioned, so that might be another step. Magloire Rivard continues on p. 1075 m 27 Aug 1868 Immaculate Conception Susanne Marsac, and includes 4 of his children born 1869 to 1875. I was really hopeful he might have been the one.
