Taking up Marilyn Arnold's search suggestion, I tried the 1860 census for MI/Macomb/Chesterfield--using no name--born 1839 [39 hits], 1839 + or -1 [122 hits], 1839 + or -2 [173 hits]. If the person was male, we could try to see which hits do not appear in the 1870 census... Or someone could make a chart of say the 173 hits and, over time, we could see how many could be eliminated... What about narrowing down the place in Chesterfield Twp where the grave stone was found... I'm sure others will have even better ideas. No surname. Of course we would like to identify the stone (no surname) and find out where it came from. The person would also like suggestions on what to do with the stone. Any suggestions, ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. The stone reads Died Oct 21 1861 Aged 21 years 11 mos & 1(or possibly 4) day ==== MIMACOMB Mailing List ==== List Administrator has new email address medaily@sbcglobal.net ============================== Find your ancestors in the Birth, Marriage and Death Records.
