Mount Clemens Public Library is pleased to announce the availability of two new searches in the Mount Clemens City Directory Master Index. In addition to the surname/business name search, we now offer an employer search and a street name search. The employer name search may be helpful in compiling a list of all local employees of a particular business during the time period covered by the index. It will also demonstrate the year in which a given individual is first listed as an employee of the business, and the last year in which the person is listed as an employee (within the current limits of the database coverage). Likewise, the street index can demonstrate when a particular address number appears or disappears from a street, or when a particular individual appears at a given address, or disappears from a given address (again, within the current limits of the database coverage).
