Dear Listers, The genealogy room of Mount Clemens Public Library will close for remodeling and expansion as of Monday, January 14, 2002. We do not have a precise reopening date at this time, but we expect the project to take approximately 2 weeks. The reopening of the genealogy collection will be announced on this list; however, you are welcome to telephone the library in advance of any visit for an update on the progress of the construction. The new-and-improved genealogy room will offer more seating, shelving space to accommodate a larger collection, and an additional microforms reader, among other things.
