    3. The Oakland County Genealogical Society will hold it's meeting on June 6, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. The topic is, "Planning a Productive Summer/Genealogy Vacation." Planning to travel for fun and genealogy this summer? Whether it's an educational opportunity, a family reunion, library, cemetery or county courthouse several states away, or a research expedition closer to home, James N. Jackson will offer tips on organizing and preparing for the trip to improve productivity and create the best opportunity for success. The meeting will be held at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 5500 North Adams (between Long Lake and Square Lake roads), Troy. The Church has a flat entrance and ample lighted parking. Meetings are open to the public and free of charge. All are welcome. Note: Adams Road is closed between Maple and Big Beaver. From the south, take Woodward or Coolidge to Long Lake, then proceed to Adams and north to the Church. See you there!
