Dear Listers, Mount Clemens Public Library and Macomb County Genealogy Group are pleased to announce an update to the Macomb County Obituary Index. This update adds over 15,000 obituaries, for a total of 166,916. The update completes 2006 of the Macomb Daily, 1944-1962 of the South Macomb News, several years of the Richmond Review and miscellaneous early papers for Mount Clemens and Utica. Volunteers contributing to this update are Jolyne Fisher, Pat Hendrickson, Carolyn Horton , Audrey Morton, Herb Savage, and Ann Faulkner. Also, a special thank you to Ann Parsons of New Mexico who has volunteered to take on the task of proofreading this large database.
