You might want to contact the St. Clair Shores public library (next city to Grosse Pointe). One of the founding families was Trombley. There is a street named after them as well. I'll see if I have anything in the local history books I have. Also, in case you were not aware ... Grosse Pointe is in Wayne County, not Macomb.
