    3. Sheri and the rest of the list, I can't say it enough times... NEVER open an attachment from someone you DON'T know. And especially NEVER open an attachment from someone you DO know if you weren't expecting it. Many people out there send jokes and files back and forth, opening them merrily, even gleefully, day in and day out without thought. That's why this type of virus will spread like wildfire when it gets started. Do yourself and all your friends and family a favor. Quit sending this type of thing around, tell them to quit sending them around, tell them to tell others to quit sending them around and one day the mischief makers won't have a reason to use this forum to spread their dread. This particular DREAD has been visited on three of my lists, or what would seem to be on the list, since Rootsweb doesn't allow attachments. It looks like it's using the subject line of the last messages the e-mail program got to RE: the virus around to the address lists. That's just a guess, mind you. Please spread the word. -- Mary D... _____________________________________________________________________ ICQ - 3081831 [email protected] http://www.idir.net/~medaily/ _____________________________________________________________________ Let us also pray for wisdom... for the grace of God that we do not become the evil that we abhor. -- Reverend Nathan Baxter, September 14, 2001 _____________________________________________________________________ Sheri Siemen-Pieprzak wrote: > Listers, > > Upon further investigation, I have discovered that the virus sent to me from Tom Leach was not sent through the Macomb Co. list.
