Hello List- I'm looking for any help locating a funeral home and church around 1904, when my gr-grandfather died. On his funeral record it states that the body was prepared by Hess-Myers, I'm unsure of the correct spelling. It states that the funeral was held at St Francesca's; again the spelling may be incorrect. When he died he was living in Detroit but he had previously lived in Harrison Township in Macomb County for about 60 years. Either of these locations could be possible. He was buried in Mt Olivet but they couldn't give me any additional information on the funeral home or church. In doing some digging, I located a San Francesco church in Clinton Township. I saw a picture of this church and it is obviously quite new. I am looking for any history of the church and also any records. Is there anyone with any familiarity of these two places or anyone that can do a look-up to determine where either was located in 1904? Thanks & SISU! John in Racine WI
