While Ancestry is great (I'm a 4 year member) most of what you need tends to be available locally. I don't know where you are (ie Michigan or elsewhere in the US), but I suggest 1) the local Public Library in Richmond, or 2) the county library: http://www.libcoop.net/mcl/ 3) If you are in the DC area, try the Library of Congres. either try to get a "lookup" via this list, or perhaps hire a local researcher. First try, to call call the local or county library -- history/genealogy section of the library -- the librarians are usually VERY helpful! Once you get the ADDRESS, then you can contact the Macomb Co. CH to get a deed for the property at this address. Good luck! Marilyn Arnold Falls Church, VA
Allen County (INDIANA) has a great collection of city directories and phone books also. -----Original Message----- From: mimacomb-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:mimacomb-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of gc-gateway@rootsweb.com Sent: Saturday, December 30, 2006 4:08 PM To: MIMACOMB-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MIMACOMB] looking for family house in Richmond, MI This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
