    1. [MiMacomb] Re: New search feature for Obituary Index
    2. Ann Faulkner
    3. I would like to add a comment to the following announcement that was made earlier this week. This would more accurately be stated as a POSSIBLE maiden name. Very few obituaries actually gave a maiden name. To compensate, we decided that if there was a surname of a parent or a brother listed, we would include this surname in the maiden name field. However, a mother may have remarried, etc. In other words, the maiden name field is a clue that needs verification. 3. Three of my lists were affected by a problem with one of the ListServers at Rootsweb this weekend. If you are getting this message, you are subscribed to one of them. ~~If you unsubscribed in the last few days and it didn't take, please unsub again. ~~The backup they used for the subscriber list was a few days old. ~~If you subbed and it didn't take, sorry, but see above... ~~The prepending list name was erased. (ie [MANN], [MiMacomb], [InBartho] ) ~~When the messages came in, they were without the list name. ~~I have since fixed that. ~~The lists woke up at an inopportune time for the @home folks. ~~Their server was down and their messages bounced. ~~Please check the archives for your missed messages. ~~and finally, a quote from the message I got from Andrew Billinghurst... "Thank you for your patience and understanding while we have been dealing with this problem. Finally a big thank you to the staff who have put aside other work and sleep to deal with this problem, especially Vicki and Doc." I want to add my thanks to Vicki, Doc and all the staff at Rootsweb who make a "problem" seem like just a slow news day!
