    1. [MiMacomb] Warner Family in Alganae, Clay, St. Clair, MI
    2. Hello, Just found this list and hope that someone out there might just be related or maybe able to help with this family. My Great Great Great Grandfather Stephen A. Warner according to the 1880 census was a Lighthouse Keeper. After further searching I also found out that his wife and one of his sons were assistants to the keeper. The lighthouse was St. Clair Flats S. Canal Range Light. A list that I was sent shows other Warners working from time to time at the same lighthouse. Those names were George E. (whom Stephen replaced him after he died in 1869 according to the National Archives), Edward Warner, & Willis Warner. I am thinking that these people were all related. I would love to find out more on these people and would love to see an obituary for George E. Warner who died sometime around Feb. 25, 1869. (since that is the day that they said his commission ended due to death and Stephen replaced him on this same day) Also, in the census it states that his parents were born in New York and that Stephen was born in Michigan. I do not know who his parents were nor do I know if he had siblings. I am posting what I know at this time on Stephen's family. Hope someone out there recognizes these family or possible lives in that area and could look up some obits for me. Any help would be most appreciated. Sophia died November 30, 1902, and Henry died June 30, 1909. They are buried in Erin Grove cemetery. I would appreciate suggestions on how I should go about finding their obituaries. Dave Kromm
