I had the information you gave regarding Leonie and her two husbands. The Thusette I mentioned is actually the one refered to as Ann. She also went by the name of Nancy on many documents. She was the one who married Louis Trombley and the many names she went by throws a lot of people off. Thanks to a good friend of mine who works in the library in Macomb I was able to even get the Chancellory papers dealing with Ann/Thusette/Nancy and Louis's divorce which is a very interesting story in itself. I will email you with some additional information. Dave

She married John C. Scribner on 7 Nov. 1849, and Honorius Henry Robert on 26 April 1864, following her first husband's death. I am related to John C. Scribner. She was sister to the "Thusette Robertjeanne" mentioned here. She may have been the sister of the Ann who married Louis Tremblay. Thusette and Françoise-Léonide's parents were Frances Moras and Joseph Robertjeanne. The Ann you refer to may have instead been the daughter of Fabian Jeannes and Magdalene Sire Dit Cadieu. If you straighten this out, I would also be interested in the clarification. Were there perhaps two different people who married men named Louis Tremblay? Or is one reported parentage incorrect?

He is the son of Alvina Harrington and Richard Steele; I am descended from another one of their children and can't get info past their names and need some background on the parents, and was hoping this obit would help.

I would think that he would be a likely candidate to be Leander's father. Henry also had land holdings valued at $1500 so the relationship (if any) should be relatively easy to confirm through census, land & probate records.

Thanks to the help of an raogk e-friend I learned he was killed in an accident in Detroit on July 18, 1941. I have an obit now, but would like all the details of that accident and wonder where I could get a death certificate, accident report or even an autopsy report? ( Would they still have them after 60 years?) Now I am also wondering what happened to his brother RICHARD EICK, who I last found in the WWI Draft registration in Macomb County. Much of this family was in Detroit, including a brother, WALTER EICK, and sisters Mrs. (Ann?) ARENDT, Mrs. Walter (Martha) JOHNSON, Mrs. Arthur (Emma) Hall and Mrs. Henry (Ida) HECK. Can anyone help me track down information on these women or Walter or Richard Eick? They also had a brother, Edward Eick, who had lived in Washington Township, but was living in Metamora by 1941. I know about him, because he was my grandfather. I am hoping to track down descendants of the others. I've posted all over, but no luck so far. Thanks for any help you can offer! Type Yahoo people search in a search engine and that might help. You can look in whole states or the country. Also try City Directories free online look-ups from CITY-DIRECTORIES-L@rootsweb.com and you can ask for help from them too. Did your parents get married in a church? Do you know the name of it? They might could help, too. Good Luck and I hope you find your Dad. Elly

I just found my gr gr grandfather, Gideon Bullis, in the 1850 census in Macomb County, Richmond. I am not sure how long they were their but Gideon's wife Adeline Bullis must have died there as she does not show up in the 1860 census when Gideon moves to Iowa with several of his children. Can anyone tell me if death certificates were available between 1850 to 1860 or any source where I might find this information. I have no idea what religion they were. I would appreciate any help and/or suggestions. Coral

I have just taken over the position of State Coordinator for Michigan at www.genexchange.org. During the last year genexchange was off line, while off line many of the coordinators became involved in other projects and did not return once the web site was up and running again. So now as coordinator I am in need of someone to head up the Macomb site. You do not need to live in the county, but it helps in acquiring documents from the library and elsewhere. If you love doing genealogy, gathering information and making it available to others on the internet, then you might be the right person for this position. Visit the site above, and go to Michigan then counties, select Macomb and click on "adopt me." There are other counties available as well. You can go directly to the MI website by entering this URL - http://www.genexchange.org/state.cfm?state=mi

Hi Everyone, I am researching a great aunt, Susan Margaret (Connolly) Ryan who lived in Roseville at the time of her death in 1982. Her husband's name was Patrick. If anyone is related to these Ryans, I would gladly exchange family history with you! :-) I do know that Susan's obit was listed in the Macomb Daily on Sept. 2, 1982. How do I obtain a copy of it? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you for listening, Janine
