Karen Jania, of the library, discusses the holdings at the Bentley Library in Ann Arbor that includes the University of Michigan Archives and the Michigan Historical Collection. A wonderful genealogical source many have never utilized. The Oakland County Genealogical Society meets at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 5500 North Adams (between Long Lake and Square Lake roads), Troy. The Church has a flat entrance and ample lighted parking. Meetings are open to the public and free of charge. All are welcome. Note: Adams Road is closed (for at least a year) between Maple and Big Beaver. From the south, take Woodward or Coolidge to Long Lake, then proceed to Adams and north to the Church.
