His daughter, Marie Coustante, was baptised on Mackinac Island May 22, 1815. She later married Joseph Ducharme and settled in Green Bay.
I found this entry in the Mackinac CD translation from the original French: "April 12, 1738, I, the undersigned, solemnly administered holy Baptism to joseph Laurent, legitimate son of Laurent du Charme and of Marguerite metivier, his father and mother, born yesterday evening. The godfather was Mr. Nicolas du fresne, trader; and the godmother Mde. Bourassa. M. L. Lefranc, Miss. of the society of Jesus. Marie Caterinne Lerige de Bourassa; Laurent Du Charme; Nicola Dufresney." Of the COWENs (note the variant spelling), the index of baptisms lists these individuals: Alexandre, Amable, Anne, Elizabeth, George, Jean Antoine, Marianne Kinanchamut, Marianne (Nancy), and Marie Anne. Of the Du CHARMEs, I found Joseph Laurent, Laurent, Louis, Marguerite Metivier, Marie Margarite, and Pierre Augustin. Hope this helps.
