There is a Chief Topinabee, which I am assuming is the one Rene is identified as, however that Topinabee is the son of Chief Anaquiba or Nanaquiba of the Potawatomis. He died Jul 1826 (Rene was buried 24 Nov 1792 in Detroit, MI).
