He used to go to Newberry, in Luce county quite a bit. I suggest you contact Luce county residents, or historical society there. Thats about all I know, I live in NE Washington state now, kind of out of touch with home affairs in Michigan. Oh, you might try records section, Luce county, or Sheriff's records there.
