We've learned to close our house up during the day and open all the windows at night.Unlike Michigan summers the air here is drier, but very hot.We arrived out here the end of July first part of August of last year, and it was sure hot here then.We stayed with my husband's family when we first got here, cause we didn't have access to any housing and we swore we'd never do something that stupid again even if we had to live in a tent. The whole trip out here and the three and half months we had to stay with family was a trip from hell.We now live in our own place as of last November, cause my sis-in-law was becoming to involved in our life.Whenever my husband and I tried to have some privacy to talk she'd walk right in on us.She was always making hurtful comments to me when my husband wasn't around which was very stressful. She's a very controling and posessive person.I don't have one on one conversations with her nor do I answer the phone when she calls.I'm civil to her wh! en I see her which isn't very often but, when I do there's no love lost betweeen us. I told my husband I've had enough trouble with my own family and that he could deal with and handle his sister anyway he chose, cause I wasn't going to subject myself to anymore family nonsense or abuse. What's funny my mom-in-law is a real sweetheart and her and I get along fine.Maybe the sis-in-law should take some lessons on how to treat and deal with people from their mom. Well I guess I've bent you ears long and since it's midnight here I think I'll go lay down. Cherie Tebo Eck When I attended the 2002 Synder/LaBlanc family reunion it was the most fun I'd had at a family gathering in along time.I never laughed so much in my life. There was no family infighting or family politics.Everyone welcomed me with open arms.I'm sure you saw my letter in the newsletter, cause that's when I first heard from you.
