He used to go to Newberry, in Luce county quite a bit. I suggest you contact Luce county residents, or historical society there. Thats about all I know, I live in NE Washington state now, kind of out of touch with home affairs in Michigan. Oh, you might try records section, Luce county, or Sheriff's records there. A lot of us when young, got into legal scrapes, chuckle. Good luck, God Bless.

I was wondering if sks had any census records that they could do a look up for me. I am looking for MCCALMON (THomas b. abt 1855 I know for sure but there could be others) this could be spelled in a variety of ways ( MCCAMMON, MCALLMON etc) . Also Thomas A. TAYLOR he married Aggie MCCALMON in 1890. I believe they had 3 children, one female two males. I traced them to St Ignace where they were married July 23, 1890 but not sure if they stayed put. Any information would be much appreciated. Lynn

Donnée 21 Date 1805-02-13 Nom COURSOLLE Prénom MICHEL Paroisse LACHENAIE Commerçant TOUSSAINT POTHIER Destination MICHILIMAKINAC Notaire CHABOILLEZ, LOUIS http://www.shsb.mb.ca/ This comes from the St. Boniface site if you are not familiar with it. I can help translate this info if you need help. I always encourage people to look at this site in my classes. There are other Courselles in the database, but I found most by just putting in Cour. You will get everything with those letters. If you have other spellings play with it and see what you get. The best info here is the Parish. This is Micheal's home parish - Lachenaie. You can now get the films from the LDS church and do the work and you've got it! Good luck. Hope this helps. Terry
