    3. Pat - We have a story in my Mills family that my Aunt, Miss Clara Belle Mills, of Plainfield, NJ was trying to trace her family line (she was my father's half sister). She allegedly was able to trace it back to "the Mayflower", but stopped when she found out that her relative (maybe mine?) was one of the first horse thieves to be hung in the new world. Don't know if ANY of it is true. Aunt Clara is long gone (she was born in 1898 or so), and I don't know if it was on my Grandfather Mills' side or her mother's side (name unknown).
