List: I have been following the discussion of John Mills, but unfortunately, there are so many JOHN MILLS. I have 13 in my own data base and my research is not nearly so extensive as many of you. My John Mills, Sr., was born in 1773, in Morristown, Morris Co., N.J. and died in 1850 in Jefferson Township, Madison Co., OH. His son, John Mills, Jr., was born in 1797, Morristown, NJ one pf 9 children. He died in 1856 in Henderson Co., IL. buried in Monmouth Cemetery, in Warren Co., IL. He was the father of 18 children, He was my g.g. grandfather. This family can be traced back to Timothy Mills (1718). Timothy was descended from George Mills, (1605) though I have to admit there were several Timothy Mills, and I am not sure of the exact lineage from George. I would certainly like for someone to help me with this. - Marna -
