Ken, DNA kit 5266 and kid 26042 belong to John Mills and Jacob (although Ted Mills is still looking for documentation) but on the DNA chart it says "Jacob b. 1660, England?) These are Washington Co, PA Mills who most probably were born in Frederick Co., MD. Does that help any? If you did not get a match to these two DNA tests, you are most probably not connected to this line. But you should get a match with someone soon. Sometimes the wait is frustrating. The more tests we get done the more things become clear. It's very hard to find a donor for the test, but it would be great if more would try. We have so many documented Mills families in this country that without the test it is almost impossible to get it all straight. Try and get a hold of the book "The Ten Mile Country and Its Pioneer Families" by Howard L. Leakey. There is a lot of Washington CO, PA information in this book. Maybe your library can find it for you, or you can order it from Willow Bend Books. They are online. I also recommend that anyone with ancestors in this area during the Revolutionary War read "That Dark and Bloody River" by Alan Eckhardt. It's available from Amazon in paperback for about ten bucks. The hard back copy has excellent maps of the area inside the front and back cover. Shirley
