I have that Thomas FANNING was born 1786 in Providence, RI. Is that still correct? At some point, someone picked them up and put Mary as the dau of James MILLS and Mary WADDLE. James and Mary were married 3 10 1788, Dutch Reformed Church, New Hackensack, NY, this is listed on familysearch.org, I looked it up on 3 19 05. Did that information turn out to be false? Mary WADDLE, was dau of Robert WADDLE and Mary DAVIS. That was info from Helen that the WADDLE'S were "of the Jersey's". Did that info also turn out not to be true? Hope some of this helps. Pat cw

Pat, I was reading the below statement from you. I was born in Bergen County, NJ...Hackensack is the County Seat. I don't know if it was known as "New Hackensack" previously & I don't know if there is a New Hackensack, NY....However, I do know there is a Dutch Reformed Church in Hackensack & Bergen County was founded by the Dutch & has many Dutch Reformed Churches thru out Bergen County. I believe there is a Bergen County Historical Society & I think it may be in Paramus, NJ, but not sure.
