    1. James River MILLS, VA
    2. I do not remember the exact title of the book, "Ye Early Plantation Owners in Virginia" something like that. I read through it in a library in Culver City, CA, USA. long time ago, before 1993. It was in the history section of the library. Possibly someone can tell me the correct name and writers and publishers and I can get it down on the right James and William MILLS, on James River, land records. Thank you Pat cw Probably on microfilm at your local LDS Family History Library center near you.

Harris and was compiled and self published in West Point, VA in 1977. Hope this helps, Paul > -----Original Message----- > From: ChekWriter@aol.com [mailto:ChekWriter@aol.com] > Sent: Sunday, May 21, 2006 5:52 PM > To: MILLS-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [MILLS] James River MILLS, VA > > I do not remember the exact title of the book, "Ye Early > Plantation Owners > in Virginia" > something like that. > > I read through it in a library in Culver City, CA, USA. long > time ago, > before 1993. > > It was in the history section of the library. > > Possibly someone can tell me the correct name and writers and > publishers and > I can get it down on the > right James and William MILLS, on James River, land records. > > Thank you > > Pat > cw > > Probably on microfilm at your local LDS Family History Library > center near > you. > > > > ==== MILLS Mailing List ==== > To unsubscribe from the MILLS list, send the command > "unsubscribe" to > MILLS-L-request@rootsweb.com (if in mail mode) or > MILLS-D-request@rootsweb.com (if in digest mode.) > > ============================== > Search the US Census Collection. 3. If any of you Mills have not read " KEGLEYS VIRGINIA FRONTIER BY F. B. KEGLEY" You need to get ahold of this and read it. It seems that the Mills owned 1/2 of Virginia at one time.
