His first US census (that I've found) is 1900 when he is married to a Katie and they already have 7 children. He lists his birth month as June and his birth year as 1856 in England, and his year of immigration is 1880. He and Katie state they have been married for 17 years, I have a marriage date for them as 17 Dec 1881, which means they met very soon after he got off the boat. She was born in Feb 1866 in Kentucky. In 1910 there is oly one small change to the info being that he immigrated in 1879 (instead of 1880), and they have 8 out of 8 children living. There is a passenger list from the "City of Berlin" ship from England to New York that lists a M J Mills that could possibly be my Matthew, it arrived 29 April 1878. If anyone else has this family feel free to contact me and if anyone can help me find Matthew's English info I would be very appreciative.
