    3. Jeff, Do you have any birth or death dates for Thomas, son Ruben and their wives? That would allow further conformation of the Quaker question. Base on the Quaker Encyclopedia, by William Hinshaw, there are no records for Thomas and Mary or Ruben and Amelia. Ruben is a very easy name to check, there are only 3 Ruben Mills' listed 5 times and none of them had a mother named Mary. Also, and all three are in my line. Also, in 1752 the northern half of Anson Co. became Rowan Co. Then in 1778 Montgomery Co. was created from the northern half of Anson Co. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Leon Beard" <bonedigger28012@yahoo.com> To: <MILLS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, May 21, 2006 8:26 PM Subject: Re: [MILLS] Mills family of (modern) Montgomery Co., NC area. > Hi Lila, > My line of descent goes : > > Thomas Mills------Mary Mills > Rueben Mills------Amelia Mills > Rebecca Mills----James Ensley > Mary Mills-------J.R.
