My 4 grandmother Margaret Mills b.June 12 1757 is buried in the Zion Lutheran Church graveyard in Clearville Pennsylvania. She was married to Joseph Mills b.1754. Joseph's father was John Mills b. 1727. Their son Isaac Mills b.1803 was my ggggrandfather.Zion church has many Mills buried there and a church window is dedicated to the Mills family. Can't help but feel there is some connection here with Clearville and the name John. Hope this gives you some clues and and a place to look.
