Dear Jo, I have written a book about this family. You can buy a copy at www.NewEnglandAncestors.org, but it's rather expensive, $85 I believe, as the first printing sold out and it's now available as a print-on-demand book. It is also available on Family History Library microfilm 1440696. You might be able to get it by interlibrary loan from the St. Louis [Missouri] County Public Library. It is thorough researched and thoroughly documented. But if all you want is the list of Peter and Joanna (Porter) Mills children, look at my file on WorldConnect at Rootsweb.com or on the Ancestry World Tree at Ancestry.com (a free part of Ancestry). http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=hsullmann&id=I854 should take you right to Peter and Joanna's family. As you will see though, I didn't include Ann's children. The book includes a great deal of information. In the first section I present a lot of material, much of which disagrees with other data that is out there in print and on the web. If you want a good picture of Peter and Joanna and his family, you need to see the book. And for Peter's mother, Dorcas Messenger, you need to see my article on the Messengers in the New England Historical and Genealogical Register, volume 153 (1993), pages 353-372. Dorcas's father was Edward Messenger. But his parents were not Andrew and Sarah. His parents ARE NOT KNOWN in spite of what you will see out there. Andrew and Sarah are fiction. Pieter signed his name as spelled above in the subject line. I've seen it spelled lots of ways, but your spelling is a new one! Helen Ullmann
