Hi Mary Beth Do you know if Lewis Mills had any relatives who were already settled in Bedford County Pennsylvania? Do You know what area of Bedford County he lived in? I ask this as much for me as for you as my Mills roots are in Bedford County--been there since late 1700s--came up from Maryland. Many Mills are buried at Zion Lutheran Church in Clearville, Bedford County Pennsylvania. There is a disagreement as to wether my Mills are English or German. Do you know if your Mills changed their name after coming to America? Lots of questions but I'd really like to solve our mysteries.
