    1. Mary MILLS 1616-1692 Boston, MA m. James HAWKINS
    2. Hi, Jan - Would there be any possibility that your Mills would be connected to this line of Mills. I do not know the parents' name. They lived in VT at least part of their early lives, had at least one child, Alexander, in VT in about 1831, moved to Durham County, Canada, by 1833 or 1835, when their son Henry was born. Henry returned to the US, as did Alexander, and each married someone from Gouverneur, St. Lawrence County, NY. Henry married Esther Aldous; Alexander married Olive Clarinda Parsons. Both marriages occurred before 1860. In 1860, the two couples were in DuPage County, IL. In the mid-1860s, Henry was in Iowa. In 1870, Henry was in Douglas County, KS, and Alexander was in Neosho County, KS. Henry moved to Neosho County in late 1870 and lived there the rest of his life, until 1906, I think it was. In Henry's obituary, it states his parents were "Vermonters." No names, of course. Does any of this seem a possible connection to your line? Thank you so much for any thoughts. Sorry, I do not know of a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, [PA] connection. Happy searching, Jan Jordan in Vermont
