Monty: I did not mean that I was saying that you, particularly, were incorrect. NO not at all. I just meant from what I keep finding on this family on rootsweb.com, and other gen sites, there are so many contradictions. And that many of the Samuel DENTON and Martha ? or MILLS are aligned with several different John "ROCK" SMITH's. So I was hoping someone who are or were or ? whatever, might have a little more insight to this area of research. That is, DENTON people or SMITH people, or at best, Helen S ULLMAN who has done extensive research, and has published a book. Not, that the book, helps me a whole heck of a lot. In that, now with DNA testing, it has thrown a "Monkey Wrench" into all of my cousins and myself long years of research in the toilet, so to speak. But it was extremely nice of Helen to chime in, and give us the references about where to find the info about DENTON - MILLS, Samuel and Martha. I just hope we have the right ones. There is a Samuel DENTON who married a Martha DENTON, too. That may be causing others to have misgivings along with me. Please accept my heartfelt apology if I insulted you. I meant no disrespect to anyone, especially you. I no longer am able to get out of my apartment, except for doctor's appointments, and medication evaluations. They match, at least, on the 12 markers. I have saved up for the next group of markers and test results should be back by Sept. 12th or so.
