If this is John Mills IV, b. 30 Jul 1774 in Guilford Co. NC and Charity MENDENHALL b. 20 Sep 1777....They married 19 Dec 1795 in Jefferson Co., TN....There was no second wife unless someone has found new records (other than the many erroneous WEB sites). There is not a death date for Charity, but her last child was 26 Jan 1820 and John has an un-substanseated death date of 19 Sep 1846.
