    3. Pat, I don't know what state that you live in , but for instance, outside Seattle, Washington, they used to have the National Archives there. You could go out there, stay all day, look at any state, and they had all the census records there on film, no charge. I believe they are still there. You did not have to order the film from elsewhere. They had copies of them all. But remember, that was about 1960, so whether they are still there, I don't know. Hope this helps. Also, RootsWeb.com is great, but sometimes the dates, or info, that you have, will agree with what someone else has. I still get a LAUGH, when someone puts, where date of death is listed, as the person is deceased, when they've been dead for at least 300 years. Oh Well. I see your messages a lot.
