Hi Ken: On this cemetery, my cousins read all the cemeteries in Bethel, Monroe, and Brown Townships, in Miami County/Clark County area and they did a book with the Tipp City Historical Society. It sold for about $10.00. This was quite a few years ago, (probably before 1990), so they were saying that the best bet is to write to them and tell them who are you looking for, and they can check to see if they know of them/about them. Their email Is _BNJNAZ@frontiernet.net_ (mailto:BNJNAZ@frontiernet.net) and he will look it up for you. I have people on the very old version of the PAF program, so it does not sort in any way. Presently, much to my annoyance, I cannot find my disk, that has my earliest research on it. Will continue to try to find it in my storage area. On a very old county road map, the two cemeteries were on it as MILLS-WELLS and WELLS Cemeteries. ( I called the county offices and was referred to the Roads Maintenance Department, and they sent me a county map, way back when.) I - 75 Highway. These cemeteries are/were at Ginghamsburg, Miami County, Ohio. The one was on land owned by John MILLS (Ours) and he sold the land per my cousins to the WELLS Cemetery for their cemetery. So, they say, that is how it came to be known as the MILLS-WELLS Cemetery. But on the old map, it did show 2 distinct cemeteries, one marked as MILLS and the other as WELLS. But later maps showed it as MILLS-WELLS Cemetery and WELLS Cemetery. I guess with the passage of time, and the fogginess of everyone's memories, that is why it is so confusing now. (Among the problems being that now it was developed for homes.) The county authorities were so annoyed with my cousin as she did all the hard work in calling to their attention that they were responsible for the maintenance and care of these cemeteries all these years. All of them were totally overgrown with bushes, berry bushes and brambles, trees/woods, etc. She found where there were Civil War Soldiers and families buried in those cemeteries. I do remember when I was there, that we had to weave our way through the trees, weeds, snow, etc. to the one cemetery that was behind the farm house and to the side of the great big barn that was on the property. (December 26-January 1st, 1988) Sadly, to report, that one of the cemeteries has been BULL DOZED, in the name of a new housing development. Before anyone of concern to stop them, all but 5 or 6 large stones were left. These are still standing/and or were moved to another part of the land. My cousins can answer any of your questions.
